“Purity FM 102.5MHZ, Awka, Anambra State, formerly known as Gateway FM is located at Mgbakwu, a village in Awka North Local Government Area, about 10 kilometer outside in Anambra State Capital but has city offices for commercial purpose.

The station came into full operation on July 1, 2005 and currently runs a fifteen (15) hours broadcast. Plans have been concluded to increase the transmission period as soon as the management is working towards connecting the station to the national grid.

Signals of Purity Fm are received in all the states of the South East and South South. They are also clear in parts of Kogi, Benue, and Delta States. They grass roots of the immediate state and its commercial centres (Onitsha and Nnewi) have been reaping the grains of the operations of Purity FM 102.5MHZ, “The Beacon on the Niger”.
